Floor Assembly

Perimeter frame in 130 x 100 x 3m cold formed “Z” section (100 x 50 RSC on 32 x 10 units), to this frame the 100 x 40 x 3 cold formed joists are welded at 406mm centres. The floor is completed with 15mm T&G Plywood tec screwed to the joists and 2mm vinyl with welded seams is fully bonded to the plywood. Note:- Insulated floors are only standard on 32’ x 10’ units.

Corner Columns

The corner columns are manufactured from 3mm cold formed sections welded to the floor assembly, wall panels and roof perimeter frame.

Walls

Manufactured from 1.6mm thick preformed sheets welded to each other, the floor assembly, the corner columns and the 50 x 50 x 6 RSA roof perimeter frame.

Roof

The roof is formed from heavily profiled 1.6mm steel sheets seam welded to each other and to the 50 x 50 x 6 RSA roof perimeter frame. Each roof weld is then treated with a gap filling rubber solution

Finishes

The unit is then spray painted, inside and out using a corrosion resistant hi build vinyl paint to a dry film thickness of 80 microns.

Shutters

Double leaf reinforced steel security shutters set in a 75 x 50 x 6mm RSA frame operated from inside the unit using spring loaded bolts. Hold open catches secure the shutter whilst in use.

Door

Both single and double doors are manufactured from 3mm coldformed steel, security is provided by 2No 5 lever locks, security hinge pins to each leaf, and additional reinforcement to the lock side to provide anti-jemmy protection. Double doors have chains to hold them open, single doors have hold open and hold closed catches.
