Floor decking is 15mm T & G spruce flooring plywood on preservative treated solid timber joists at 400mm (nominal) centres. Each joist is fixed to two timber skids of 100mm x 50mm and edge beams of ex 150mm x 38mm. Joist sizes are ex 125mm x 38mm on 9ft wide units, ex 150mm x 38mm on 10ft wide units and 150mm x 50mm on 12ft wide units.
The floor construction is insulated with 80mm fibreglass laid between joists and retained by 3mm oil tempered hardboard supported on 19mm x 19mm laths, this gives a ‘u’ value of 0.45 watts m2K
Floor covering is 2.00 mm sheet vinyl bonded to floor decking complete with welded seams, or as detailed in the quotation.
External cladding is 9mm WBP plywood glued and fixed to studding at 400mm (nominal) centres, unit sizes up to 24’ x 9’ have ex 50 x 38 framing above this 75 x 38 framing is used. The external finish is resin based texture.
The wall construction is insulated with fibre glass laid between the studs to give a “U” value of 0.45 watts/M2 K, internal lining is 12.7mm vapourcheck plasterboard with a bonded vinyl face material.
The fully ventilated and cambered roof has a deck of 11mm sheathing fixed to solid timber joists at 400mm (nominal) centres. The joist sized are ex 125mm x 25mm on 9ft and 10ft units and 150mm x 38mm on 12ft wide units. The roof finish is a single layer membrane Hypalon sheet with an AA fire rated finish. The roof construction is insulated with fibre glass laid between joists and retained by the 12.7mm vapourcheck plasterbaord ceiling.
The fascia is a preformed galvatite steel section with a paint finish trimmed at the top with 20mm x 20mm aluminium angle.
Rain water discharge is effected through the factory formed outlets through the gable soffit to 63mm x 63mm squareline rainwater goods to shoes discharging to the ground.
Steel Jacklegs are fitted to each unit to facilitate loading, unloading, siting and stacking. The size of leg fitted is to suit the loading and usage.
External doors are solid core 838mm x 1981mm and have an aluminium weather drip, the softwood frame has a fitted draught strip and hardwood cill. The cill has a rubber weather bar.
Standard windows are framed in mill finish aluminium and glazed in 4mm glass. Sizes and types can be to individual requirements and to suit each unit size. Double glazing and UPVC windows are an optional extra
Single phase electrics are supplied to each unit complete with fluorescent lighting, heating and power points as required. Each unit is fitted with MCB’s and residual current circuit breakers. All installations comply with the latest edition of the I.E.E. regulations and test certificates can be provided.
External wall colours are to the clients choice from the BS 4800 range.
Corner cappings are 60mm x 60mm galvatite steel with a paint finish.
