Every year we throw away around 400m tonnes of waste in the UK. According to UK government figures about 30m tonnes of this is household waste. A lot of materials and energy is wasted to make non-recycled products and too much of the UK waste still ends up on landfill sites.

Given the advantages of a refurbished pre-owned modular building, which helps to sustain the environment, it is sometimes hard to understand why people still decide to buy a new modular building. We think that one of the reasons people might prefer ‘new’ to ‘refurbished', is perhaps the lack of information, hence our effort to put some information on this page!

School buildings: Being taught in a in a recycled school building can send a powerful message to the children and opens their eyes to the fact that recycled does not necessarily mean compromised! We all have a responsibility to set a good example.
